VIZ Media, a North American licensor and distributor of Japanese anime and manga, has licensed the first 52 episodes of the supernatural anime Kekkaishi, based off the manga published in Shonen Sunday by Yellow Tanabe. Kelkaishi will begin airing on Adult Swim, the adult lineup on the Cartoon Network, on May 29th. The anime is currently available on VIZ Media's VIZ Anime streaming video website in Japanese with English subtitles.

Kelkaishi Anime

In Kekkaishi anime, there are powerful forces known as Karasumori. Over the past 400 years it has been the duty of one clan of Kekkaishi, or barrier masters, to guard the land and exterminate supernatural creatures that are attracted to the Karasumori every night.
